Why book with us
Peugeot Van Servicing & Repairs Brierley Hill with clear advice.
Peugeot vans do a lot of the Black Country's work, from the small Partner used by plumbers and electricians to the Expert and the big Boxer used by builders and delivery firms. We service all three at our Talbots Lane workshop, find warning lights, replace clutches, and do brakes, suspension and steering work for one-van traders and small fleets in Brierley Hill and Dudley.
Peugeot vans have well-known faults. Older Partners use an additive to help the particulate filter regenerate, and the tank needs topping up at intervals. The 1.6 HDi is known for injector seal leaks. Later BlueHDi vans have AdBlue systems, and the AdBlue tank and pump unit is a common failure. Boxers that carry heavy loads wear out clutches faster than most.
We use professional diagnostic equipment that reads Peugeot fault codes across the van's modules, including the additive and AdBlue systems, and we check live data before we decide anything. Stefan built this workshop on finding faults other garages miss. On a working van that means the right part first time, and less time with your Peugeot sat on the drive.
Before any work starts we ring you with a clear quote and tell you what is urgent and what can wait. Nothing goes ahead without your say-so. Racking and ply-lining can stay in for servicing and most repairs. Nick and Stefan have run the workshop since 2019, and van owners from Stourbridge, Kingswinford and Halesowen keep coming back for honest advice.
We are approved for both Class 4 and Class 7 MOTs. Partners and most Experts take Class 4, which covers vans up to 3,000kg, while the 3.5 tonne Boxer takes Class 7. We test them all here and can usually do the service in the same visit. Call us on 07494 990846. We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm.

Common questions
- How often should my Peugeot van be serviced?
- Most Peugeot vans have a yearly or mileage-based service, with a reminder on the dash. A van working every day, carrying weight or doing short trips is better serviced on time with the correct low-ash oil, which protects the particulate filter. Give us your registration and we will check the schedule.
- Can you MOT a Peugeot Boxer?
- Yes. Most Boxers are plated at 3,500kg design gross weight and need a Class 7 MOT, which we are approved to carry out. Partners and lighter Experts up to 3,000kg take a Class 4 test, which we also do. You can find the plated weight on the manufacturer's plate and your V5C.
- Why does my Expert say AdBlue fault with a full tank?
- On the Expert the AdBlue tank and pump are one unit, and it is a known failure point. The warning usually comes with a countdown of starts, and at zero the van will not restart. Book it in early. We test the system, confirm the fault and quote the repair before we start.
- What is the additive warning on my Partner?
- Some Partners use a separate fluid that is mixed into the fuel to help the particulate filter burn off soot. When it runs low you get a warning and the filter can start to block. We can top it up, reset the system and check the filter is healthy.
- Do you work on the electric e-Partner and e-Expert?
- Yes, for servicing, brakes, suspension, tyres, the 12-volt battery and diagnostic work. Electric vans still need regular checks, and their brakes can corrode because the pads are used less with regenerative braking. Tell us it is electric when you book so we can plan the job.
- Will an independent service affect my van's warranty?
- No. Under UK block exemption rules you can have a van serviced by an independent garage without affecting the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the work follows the service schedule and uses parts and oils to the right specification. We record every job so your service history stays complete for warranty claims and for when you come to sell the van.
- Do I need to take out my racking or ply-lining?
- No. For a service, an MOT and most repairs we work around racking, ply-lining and roof bars. Please take out loose tools and stock where you can, so we can reach everything safely and nothing goes missing. If a particular job means something has to come out, we will tell you when you book.
- Where are you and which areas do you cover?
- We are on Talbots Lane in Brierley Hill, DY5 2YX. We look after Peugeot vans from Brierley Hill, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kingswinford, Halesowen and the surrounding Black Country. Call 07494 990846 to book. We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm.
- Will you start work without asking me?
- Never. We inspect the van, find the cause and ring you with a clear quote before any parts are ordered or any work starts. We tell you what needs doing now for safety and what can wait until a quieter week, so you can plan the cost around your work. Nothing is added to the bill without your say-so.
